Venetian Breakfast Buffet
We have reserved a table with a view for you, overlooking a typical Venetian canal where the gondolas silently sail by, in a magical atmosphere. This is a great way to start your day, where your senses are aroused by a rich buffet of croissants, hot bread and homemade cakes, mixed cold cuts, mozzarella cheese with tomatoes and other tasty dishes.
Guided Foodie Tour – A Sweet History of Venice
This fascinating, culinary sojourn dips into the sweet history of sugar in Venice, the biscuits, the coffee houses and of course the ice cream, for which the city is famous. Pastry chefs used to be called scaleter (after their habit of cutting a ladder pattern "scala" on sweet pastries) and have a long history of baking in the city. Venetian biscuits were famously used by the Venetian Navy with many state-owned bakeries located in the Arsenal area, home of the fleet. Discover a historic city bakery, a coffee house and the rich history of sweets in Venice with your local guide as you enjoy tastings together with the sights. (Afternoon and Evening Free)

Guided Markets Tour with Tastings
In this Merchants of Venice tour, enjoy a trip to the belly of Venice exploring the Rialto Markets. Learn the secrets of the day's catch and enjoy the sights and sounds of this historic city center market before a light lunch and cichete. For centuries Venetian merchants would talk business over cicchetti and ombra – a euphemism referring to grabbing a quick bite and something to drink in the shade. This Venetian style tapas is traditionally served in "bacari" where you can still enjoy these bite-sized delicacies, including tiny tramezzini, triangular sandwiches stuffed to bursting.
Check-Out and Departure
While your mini-vacation to Venice comes to an end way too fast, you should have a wealth of memories to pack for your journey home, or to other points throughout Italy. We have arranged for storage of your luggage until you are ready to depart for the airport or train station by waterbus.
