Arrival in Split & Welcome Dinner
Upon your arrival into the Split Airport, you’ll be taken to your hotel, where you can enjoy some free time to unpack and explore before dinner. Acquaint yourself with all the amenities of your lodgings for the next three evenings—the Radisson Blu. Once settled, you’ll be whisked into the heart of the city for your welcome dinner at Uje Oil Bar/Pikulece. Croatia’s first oleoteca (olive oil bar), Uje serves as a wonderful introduction to Croatian cuisine. The small menu is written daily and offers only what’s fresh and in season; you’ll enjoy traditional dishes made with local ingredients such as fish, lamb and of course, olive oil. Make room for bread, however, as it is the signature item at Uje Oil Bar, made with olive oil and baked fresh daily.

Make your way through the ruins of Diocletian's Palace, a 1700 year-old wonder of Roman engineering that has been named a UNESCO World Heritage site and also serves as a filming location for the intensely popular TV show, Game of Thrones. At the end of your tour, you’ll have the option to visit the world-famous Mestrovic art gallery, or be transferred back to your hotel to begin your evening of leisure. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Today your explorations will be coordinated by private car service with guide. First, visit Trogir for a private walking city tour. This beautiful medieval town boasts many remarkable sights you’ll appreciate, including the Cathedral of St Lawrence. Constructed between the 14th and 16th centuries, the bell tower is still standing and adventurous visitors can climb to the top to revel in awe-inspiring views. After a thorough examination of Trogir, journey on to Šibenik, where you’ll discover another ancient city by walking tour. During your tour, experience the Cathedral of St James—a spectacular fusion of gothic and renaissance art and a must-see for visitors to the Dalmatian coast. As your walking tours have certainly inspired an appetite, it’s fitting that your next stop is lunch at Tavern Pelegrini, voted best restaurant in Croatia in 2015. The tavern, located in the seven hundred-year-old Villa Pellegrini-Tambaca, sits alongside the Cathedral of St. James and serves inspired Dalmatian cuisine. Bold takes on traditional dishes put the restaurant on the map and flavor is at the forefront of their well-loved offerings. Today, enjoy your final breakfast in Split before venturing out to the Pelješac Peninsula, one of Croatia’s finest wine-growing regions. Here, you’ll visit St. Hills winery to learn about and taste Plavac mali, Zinfandel’s long-lost, Dalmatian cousin. The blazing Mediterranean sun fully ripens these indigenous little blue grapes while ocean breezes cool them, resulting in full-flavored wines of excellent acidity and gripping tannin. Pair your wine with an exquisite lunch, enjoyed in the winery’s restaurant, which bestows upon visitors wonderful views of the Pelješac countryside.
Ferry to Korcula | Hotel Korcula De La Ville (1 Night)
For the next leg of today’s journey, head by ferry to the island of Korcula, the sixth largest and one of Croatia’s most treasured islands. Check in to your hotel for the evening and then head out to discover the town’s famed medieval squares, churches, palaces and landmarks, such as Marco Polo's house, where the explorer is said to have been born in 1254. This romantic hotel is steps from Korcula Town Museum and Cathedral of Saint Mark. Large Governor's Tower and Zakerjan Tower are also with 5 minutes. Newly renovated, the hotel features a restaurant, a bar/lounge and fee WiFI in the public areas. Although you’re free to explore the area restaurant, we recommend you visit Restaurant Filippi, Lesic & Dimitri, or Adio mare Tavern for dinner. The combination of the food, wine and view will make for a memorable Korcula dining experience.

After wine tasting and snacks at Korta Katarina, take a short detour in the town of Ston, where you’ll see the world’s second longest wall (after the Great Wall of China). Originating from the 14th century and built in order to protect the city’s saltworks, the Ston city walls are a beautiful and unique spectacle to behold.
